heres my entery for 's 7 deadly sins contest.
I did alot of research for this and every thing in each panal is simbolic for the sin it reprasents.

Stating at the top right going clockwise:

Name: Avani
Color: Indigo
Flower/object: Peach and Orange Roses
Meaning: Passion, Desire, Lust

Name:Utama
Color: Orange
Flower/object: Grapes
Meaning: Gluttony

Name: Durugana
Color: Yellow
Flower/object: Coins
Meaning: Greed

Name: Paravati
Color: Blue
Flower/object: Leaves (trees/sleeping/lazy summers)
Meaning: Lazieness, Sloth

Name: Niruruit
Color: Red
Flower/object: Petunia
Meaning: Anger, Wrath

Name: Mahedevi
Color: Green
Flower/object: Marigolds
Meaning: Jealousy, Envy

Name: Umako
Color: Purple
Flower/object: Amaryllis
Meaning: Pride

The chiness charicters tords the center also mean the same....... so there it is....... I hope every one likes it --_--

Edit-> I finaly got around to fixing the prude -> pride thing ^^;

why are all of the sins girls?(you also used the name Umako twice and only gave one meaning for both of them)i thought there were bound to be some guys in there.
in my version of the Seven Deadly Sins,there are five guys.the only girls are Pride and Envy.in my sister's version,there are three girls...i don't know which is which because she didn't lable them.XP.
i'll try to get my version of them up on my DA page.so keep in touch and i'll be sure to give you the link to it.=D.
great pic by the way.i like how you wrote their names in...japanese?chinese?can't tell.lovely use of color.

This was part of a contest that was holding for her story Alter Ego. In the story the god Shiva has several wives and 7 of them are representing the 7 deadly sins, so thats way there all girls. As for the name repeating of the name I had not notest that (typeo on my part ^^;) gluttenys name is supose to be Utama.... the chricters in the center I think is a mix of japanese and chinese, I just used the on that was easyest to fit in such a tiny space.
